What a delight!! This Ttukbaegi Bulgogi from Daehwa Vegetarian surely goes into the top 5 of the best food I’ve eaten in Singapore.

I think I had hardly ever eaten Korean food before, but this delicious soup made me want to try anything and everything the restaurant offers (it’s vegetarian though so make sure you let the staff know if you are vegan).

This dish is made of bulgogi mushrooms, various veggies (spotted daikon and carrots), a bit of fresh herbs, and a few glass noodles. Note that the soup is rather sweet and very slightly spicy. It comes with rice and free side dishes (the ginger mushroom mix is soooo good).

Paid $14 for this, which I found totally fair, considering the huge serving (could work for 2 people with little appetite) and quality of the ingredients. Will definitely go back to try more of their food 🍲

PS: be careful, the soup comes streaming hot! Couldn’t resist for long to the appealing smell so I ended up burning my tongue taking a spoonfull of the delicious broth while it was still piping hot 😅
