Mushroom Kolomee en Food Republic — Reseña de tabs (10 mar 2022)

This is my first time at the newly relocated Thunder Tree chain stall - they used to be located at Raffles Hospital which I was an absolute fan of! They are properly famous (IMO) for their unique highly fragrant leicha kolomee but this is my first time trying the Mushroom version of the Kolomee which might initially leave one confused on why it’s like $2 cheaper than the leicha kolomee. Turns out it’s cos you only choose one veg instead of the full range, alongside the mushroom. But can totally do add-ons. No regrets trying mushroom cos it was equally well-done, good texture, so flavourful that it would easily pair great w plain rice too.
I was in two minds whether to submit for a stand-alone Thunder Tree restaurant listing on abillion for their new outlet instead of listing it within Vivo’s food court cos they totally deserve their own restaurant listing… but also feeling lazy to wait for the approval before the dish review. Maybe it’s also easier for people to identify /search the dish based on overall food court options rather than search for a specific stall? 🤔
