This bread seems to me like the best off-the-supermarket shelf bread - hits high marks across all categories of nutritional value, slight nuttiness flavour, good texture (aka seedy) but without overriding the main bread, affordable price. So it’s a big WIN for me - a recent favourite ever since I discovered it & the first off-colour photo of the bread is cos I keep a stash of it in my freezer for easy reach.
My household somehow used to buy all the other brands, but after examining nutritional labels of all the breads, I have newfound appreciation for the Sunshine brand 😮. Bc I never realized they actually produced a SUPER VARIED range of ‘healthy’ breads catering to many different needs and tastes for the ‘normal’ breads?!? Other Brands seem to do the typical ‘let’s just add more new artificial flavours or stuffings’ into our breads & it’s new!
Shoutout to sunshine’s Australian oat bread which I think is pretty good too 😌. Anw their breads have different levels of wholegrain (100%, extra grain, ultra fine, extra fine etc) or whether it’s just wheat flour. and it’s all super clearly stated on the packaging. So you choose your ‘poison’ 🤣 or rly your preference in how soft/textured/healthy you want it🙂
