Review of Szechuan Mala Mushroom Tofu Vegan Pho at Sandwich Saigon (Vegetarian) by munch

I love mala but found this ($11) kinda disappointing. The mala tasted like the haidilao mala sauce packet and the soup was heavy on salt / msg as other reviewers found of the regular vegan pho! The tofu (taupok) was also soaked in a sweet soy sauce that added to the saltiness of the whole dish. Had to down a whole lot of water after this 🥴 Would recommend the banh mi, rice or vermicelli over the pho!
