I sent a pic of these sieuw mai I found in the Asian store to my partner and he didn’t believe they were vegan! He was like are you sure?? 🤣 Had to show him the packet to prove it! They say vegetarian but there is a small vegan stamp there. I believe they are usually made out of pork and shrimp. These ones had a slight cooked dry Asian bean curd sheet taste as that is likely what they’re made out of, but the texture and flavour was a decent mimic.
