Pita Pocket en Woodlands Sourdough — Reseña de bornvegetarian (6 sept 2021)

Oh my god. I don't think I've come across a more wholesome pita pocket than this one. It's so generously stuffed with all the most flavourful ingredients! Middle Eastern flavours that are common with some South Asian flavours, so my sister said it reminded her somewhat of vada pav (not sure I agree). There's turmeric cauliflower (lots), fatoush salad, baba ganoush , onions, zhoug (coriander sauce), toum (garlic sauce), I forget what else. Full of aromatic herbs and spices, dollops of dressings, and everything fit well inside this freshly baked soft but firm (except where the spiced olive oil was forming a puddle at the bottom of my paper bag) pita bread. Not very salty, so much else to enjoy. I couldn't even resist the sound of it, and then they said it's vegan and I gave in.

At $12 it is completely worth it, but perhaps not sustainable for how often I'd like to be eating something like this.

It's not a regular item I believe, their sandwich menu is different each time! Which makes my fomo quite regular...
