I had this in my burger, where unfortunately the pairing with Beerenberg's tomato chutney (which I've previously reviewed and which has a particularly punchy and overbearing topnote🌶️🍅) completely muted the #cranberry. I'll need to try this again with a more obliging complement 😅
On the other hand, I struggle to see how this #sauce would be a happy addition to a sweet dish. It's certainly no fruit compote, and nothing like Duerr's apple sauce for richness and depth of taste. The nutritional values say otherwise, but on the palate this felt positively diabetic 😳
At least they clearly label as suitable for "vegans and vegetarians" 🙌🥰 Not sure it's entirely satisfying for a #berrylover though 😬
