Simply Asia - Table View

A new dish on the Simply Asia menu for Songkran 👏 comprising carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli - with crumbed tofu on the side.
The radish was really delicious but, unfortunately, there wasn’t really any “sauce” to speak of, which I found a bit odd. It was served with crumbed tofu, which was pretty different to the usual, but I found it a bit tough (perhaps I’m just spoilt, as my hubby makes amazing crumbed tofu for us that this could not top 😂).
It’s not served with rice, making it pretty steep at R105.00 (or more, if ordering via the Mr D app).
I would consider ordering it again if they added more of a sauce and/or a dipping sauce for the tofu.

This looks incredible Taz! 🤩 I remember doing Songkran in Bangkok a fews ago on a backpacking trip and it was incredible. Basically the largest water festival in the world! I 🇹🇭 💦
I haven’t been to simply Asia for a while, glad to see they are adding new vegan dishes. I will try the jhb branch and see if it maybe comes with more sauce 🤷♀️.
