Review of Si-chuan Vege Toufu Soup at North South East West Fusion Vegetarian Cuisine by bornvegetarian
Okay, I expected this to be better. I'm not sure what was Si-chuan about it, it just seemed like a regular salty broth with vegetables and toufu, fried beancurd and a few bits of mock meat (which I forgot to opt out of). And some oil floating on top, perhaps from the fried stuff. I thought there would some spiciness and less greasiness and saltiness. Unless it's something my taste buds are not picking up.. Not getting this next time. It's served with rice but I opted that out.
