
I really wanted to love these noodles as there’s only one ingredient and it’s buckwheat flour, but they’re not my favorite soba noodles. They weirdly smell REALLY bad when cooking, like enough to make me wonder if something was wrong with them and if I should eat them. Luckily the smell went away when I rinsed them and once I tossed them with carrot, cucumber, bell pepper, green onion, and a dressing made of: peanut butter, sriracha, liquid aminos, garlic, and sesame oil- they tasted fine. Just an odd experience overall.
