Review of Mixed Chinese Hors D’oeuvres at Veggie Heaven by jessnickel

Went for the sample platter cause it’s our first time here. The drumsticks were amazing (they tasted kind of exactly like corndogs but in a good way), and the “veggie roast pork” was the absolute star of the show. If someone told me it was real pork I might’ve believed them. It absolutely blew me away. The soy “duck” was okay, tasted more like egg than anything. I liked it but only because I see potential in it as an egg substitute. I thought the crispy sesame seaweed was good but overshadowed by the pork and drumsticks. The autumn roll was a straight no from me. I recommend just buying the pork and drumsticks for the appetizer menu!
