Review of Deep dish Mediterranean at Kitchen 17 by sunnycaribbeanvegan

Okay, so I never had deep dish pizza before. I have a good friend in Chicago who’s been asking me to visit him ever since my pre-vegan days. He always said that I should have a deep dish pizza. Forward two years later and I finally went to Chicago. The only thing is that I’m vegan now and will not have a “normal” deep dish pizza. Luckily it’s 2019 (almost the end of the decade. Say whuuuut!?😱) and us vegans have many many options. Literally anything can be veganized nowadays (hats off to the vegans who went vegan back when all these options didn’t exist. You guys are the real MVP). So, I had to have a deep dish pizza, even if it doesn’t come with all the cruelty. I asked online and got recommended this joint called Kitchen 17. Now, I don’t know how a “normal” deep dish pizza tastes like, buuuut I absolutely loved the vegan one. My friend, an omni, said that it tasted okay. Well, it’s a 10/10 for this girl. 🤤🤤
