Tempeh Satay en Vege Pot 素砂煲 — Reseña de xuan! (17 ago 2019)

$5! brought my non veg friend here and he was honestly not impressed by the food here:( he got the nasi lemak (forgot to take a photo) and he was saying how it wasn’t even close to nasi lemak haiz but he said he “appreciated the effort” HAHA. the satay too, he didn’t really like it:( although I thoroughly enjoyed it HAHAHHA guess it really depends on preference. I actually expected peanut sauce though but was given curry sauce which confused me a little? it was quite spicy for me heh. the satay was crispy and I really liked it but my friend said it just doesn’t go well and tastes nothing like satay (it doesn’t, but it’s unique on its own so I don’t fault it) also thought the white pieces were ketupat but it was some fruit we couldn’t identify. fruits were quite fresh though!
