Had to ask the staff at #yellowpot to make this because it was the one dish I could be sure they wouldn't use eggs in. The button mushrooms, spring onions and red chili peppers 🌶 were a nice touch! If I went back I'd definitely order the rice again. ❤️🍚

For authentic #sichuan cuisine that's also plant-based head to Si Wei Mao Cai #siweimaocai on Mosque Street or Shisen Hanten #shisenhanten on Orchard if you're looking for something fancy!

Tip: We sort of judge sichuan restaurants by the quality of the mapo tofu. Here they refused to make it without beef 🤬 and the few friends at the table that had it said it was awful. The only dish left standing. So I wouldn't go back to Yellow Pot unless they #tryharder!
