One of our core aims at UD is to use the power of plants to revolutionise public perceptions surrounding vegan food. Just look at this beast! Ice cream, pistachio cream and chocolate sauce on top of a brioche bun. This nearly broke me! My Mum helped a bit, but I think this would benefit from having slightly less ice cream 🍦😯

You don't often see #vegan prawns presented like this. The sauce was really nice and the prawns were sweet.

These mushroom 🍄 skewers had a great texture. The rub was quite thick on them, so had a bit of a gritty texture. They were also quite salty. I think a wet marinade would work better.

🌱 🇬🇧 🤤 ⭐ Oh my god. Finding a carvery in London is hard enough, never mind a fully vegan one and wow, it was amazing. I’ve added the menu too so that you can see the amazing sides (creamy leek, cauli cheese, pork scratching?!!) and a Yorkshire pudding! Just book a table now and go on a Sunday, this is amazing, I will be going back. I went with 4 friends so we had a main each and shared them all, my favourite was the chicken This is £22 per plate which is wonderful for London, especially as you can pile as much on your plate as you want. The roast potatoes could have been better but that was about it. 🌱Unity Diner have reopened amazingly and their new Sunday carvery is a roaring success. 🎉🎊Even by myself they struggled to sneak me in at 5pm. You get a choice of 5 mains. I got the mushroom 🍄‍🟫Wellington but it was super difficult to choose. You get one #yorkshirepuddings and then can eat as much as you want of all the sides which you help yourself to. Maybe I came at a bad time but many things seemed empty or nearly empty and it wasn’t the greatest presentation then. I went back for #cauliflower cheese which was one of the things I really wanted to try. It was all really nice but I don’t think I’ll be racing back to have this again. It’s £21.99 for the Sunday carvery. I absolutely loved the food at this place but unfortunately this dish wasn't great compared to the others. It was quite dry and bland and tasted more like unseasoned falafel (n.b. we are Indian so we do like our spice more than they average person) in a bun than a burger. It would be great if they used some kind of spicy bean patty instead!

Beautifully done, did not disappoint at all. The crunch from the caramelised sugar was lovely, and the custard was great, just the right level of sweet.
