This was a super chocolatey little snack. It’s very gooey and more-ish. It also has a crumble base on it, so it has sort of like a chocolate “cheesecake” vibe-ish!

If you’re after a quick bite to eat this is a really nice option. The toastie is small but very flavourful and at R55 it’s affordable. The atmosphere at the Coffee Roastery at Lourensford is so tranquil also. Very nice way to spend a mid morning.

It was down as vegan on the menu which really excited me when I saw it. It tasted really nice! I very recently became vegan and this was my first restaurant vegan dish and I would happily order it again! It is also reasonably priced. It doesn’t have any side with it but it filled me enough.

This establishment didn’t have a vegan breakfast option so I asked if I could build my own, they were happy to! It went on the bill as another breakfast item I thought was a little too pricey but the ambience, amount of mushrooms and willingness to create a breakfast for me made up for it.
