This has to be the only MMM I look forward to having 👀 Who wants to come to the office early on a Monday? Not even this @abillion10 loving goth is down for that 😤 I think though that this was everyone else’s favourite! I can appreciate the sentiment too, it’s just that the spinach in their vegetable #murtabak settled that as mine 😅 This one was stuffed and I mean STUFFED with lentils, #mushrooms, and all kinds of shenanigans! It had some goop to it like their Impossible Murtaburger but luckily without any of that awful sweetness! This is their other primary vegan recommendation though and I’d highly suggest it over the other. Yes, we’re still on the #throwbackthursday train.. 🚃 Not to be basic but this was my favourite of all the dishes we ordered 🌱 If I haven’t made it clear from my protein-deficiency review some time ago, I’m actually a huge #spinach goth 🖤 Yeah it’s true I actually have quite an awful rep, ask any local spinach you may know and they may have heard of me 😤 My friends blame this on my goat-like tendencies. It all started when daddy Lucif- ..ah yes, the #murtabak! Yeah, it was lekker af! 🤙 Tonnes of spinach and lentils to go around, I was stuffed! 🫘 The crust pieces though were my favourite 😋 Nothing beats oil and flour and you can’t tell me otherwise! #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease #veganisnotscary #throwback

Next up, the star of the show! 🌟 Or really, that’s what they’d have us believe. I’m still giving them a huge pat on the back for such a sizeable portion of Impossible mince at only S$10.90, not even to mention that this was at what rubbed off as a regular roti place 🫓 The crust was perfect and the insides chewy but gosh.. why was there so much sauce?? 😭 Even with cutlery I had a hard time digging into this! Plus it was stuffed with sweet chilli sauce! Why?? 😭 It ruined the #savoury of the meal and brought it down from a solid 5 stars to a passable 3, how awful! Unless you like your roti-eating experience goopy and soupy, perhaps you can opt out of it in the future 😵‍💫 What this exemplary of though is that so truly #veganisnotscary that we even get to nitpick! #throwbackthursday #throwback

Oh my gosh talk about #throwbackthursday! I literally wrote this review back on my last flight to Kuching while the whole #veganisnotscary campaign was still going #throwback 😅 Better late than never, I suppose? My friends and I came here crawling after a hike, nay, jungle crawl following the app’s few #veganfriendly suggestions in the area 🚞 This dish just called to me more than any of the roti dishes did 😅 I’m just a sucker for #noodles, these instant maggie types especially! It has to to be #veganized by having them #droptheegg but this is no problem here 😉 They seem to know the #vword like the back of their roti! 🫓 For S$5 the portion is a bit lacking but considering we ordered 4 dishes for 3, we really didn’t need more 😌 It was great though! As this dish is already vegetarian as is, it included #tofu for protein unlike the many #maggie style dishes you’d usually get in an establishment like this. I was even more surprised by how “healthy” it tasted! Overall I’m really impressed! It really seems like there isn’t a place in Singapore where I can’t find vegan food 🌱 #veganisnotscary ftw!! 🙌

I've never had murtabak before but didn't know what to expect and was excited to try this. This was sweeter than I expected and slightly greasier too. The accompanying dal was nice.

It’s honestly like a proper thali with three kinds of vegetables (eggplant, beetroot and cabbage this time), sambar and a little bowl of rasam! I really didn’t expect so much when I ordered it. The beetroot was nice and spicy, too! Also, I really like that they mark the vegan dishes on the menu so clearly :)

The thosai was crispy on the outside, yet still soft and meaty inside, and not at all oily! The chutneys here are so-so and I didn’t really touch them much, but I really liked the sambar this time! Don’t know if I got lucky and it had just been made. Would have loved a big bowl of it :)

I requested the place to make it a vegetarian mee goreng , with lots of tofu and greens . It was a satisfying meal! If you plan to order , request them to make it vegetarian version and make sure to tell them not to add egg as well.

Other outlets do their thosais better I think :’) The thosai could have a bit more taste and the lentil x potato mash inside could have been seasoned for a better dish, but nevertheless the curries / chutneys were on the milder side and good for people who don’t like a lot of spice!
