This dish is not officially on the menu, but I asked them to take a cheese fry plate they already had and use vegan meat and vegan cheese instead. They obliged and it turned out to be incredible!

This is basically a vegan version of a fast food soft taco. They use Hungry Planet meat out of St. Louis and we were really impressed with the taste & texture. Only thing missing from these tacos was a vegan sour cream, but they were still really good. #missiontacojoint #tacos #vegantacos #hungryplanet #kansascity #softtacos

These tacos are spicy and very flavorful. Who needs chorizo when you can have soyrizo? A very well-put-together taco that is worth it’s price. I also love the restaurant’s vibes as a whole! Upon request they will give you a menu for dietary restrictions, including gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options, which is awesome! #KansasCity #veganKC #MissionTacoJoint
