I never order a full English breakfast so I thought it’s time to try. I must admit, it wasn’t the best… the beans and greens were the best part, the rest were quite tasteless. My tofu scramble was quite bland, mine is much better. The tempeh bacon wasn’t smokey at all, the banger was falling apart. However, the portion is quite big and the view is always pretty there.

Delicious juice if you like beetroot and ginger as those were the dominant flavours. I guess the apples added some freshness, but not the flavour. The straw is fully biodegradable.

I had to review this water because the bottle, which looks and feels like plastic, is made from sugarcane plants! That just blew my mind. Super impressed :) The water tastes good too 😄 R18 a bottle

Warm, sweet and indulgent! My sister ordered this and it was a good choice. It cost R40 which is a little pricey in my opinion, considering you can get gourmet-style doughnuts from Hulis for R20. But it was super tasty!

Such a beautiful and generous dish but flavour-wise it was so bland. Everything tasted fine but it felt like the elements of the dish were not really interacting and it was in desperate need of some proper seasoning. It’s a shame because it’s such a great concept: ‘Aubergines, lentils, onion garlic in tomato sauce and béchamel sauce topped with Parmesan’. I appreciated the side salad. I thought it was a good portion of food for R95 but since the flavour was lacking I won’t order this again. Plant is a wonderful restaurant with lovely staff so I’m hoping the next dish I try there will really impress 🌱

Wow wow wow 🤩 Possibly the best plate of nachos I’ve ever eaten! One of my favorite meals growing up was nachos, so it’s safe to say that this was a real treat. I loved all the flavours and textures, especially the guacamole and vegan cheese sauce, along with the beans 🌱 Super tasty! Simply can’t find any faults, would definitely order again in the future ✨

I have never tried the real bobotie, this vegan version of it was okay. Lentils are the meat substitute here.

I really did love the first version of this starter that was made with cashew nuts at their original branch in Cape Town CBD. This tapioca variation is not bad at all, but lacks the tang. I also thought presentation could be a bit better. Overall, not bad though.
