These cookies are scrumptious. The chunks of chocolate are so much better than little bits of chocolate often found in cookies. They were also great to take with me (and consume) on a fairly long train journey. #veganuary

As crazy as it seems, Indians might not understand what vegan means. Their labeled ‘Pure veg’ restaurants still serve dairy in their actual VEGETARIAN dishes, so be careful. However this restaurant is not the case, EVERYTHING IS VEGAN, and I was crying of joy not having to explain that I can’t have butter nor ghee, but I could have garlic or onion. (I’m pretty sure many people will understand what I mean). This pizza is out of this world: Pesto, cashew cheese, zucchini, olives, roasted tomatoes and rocket, and most importantly: NOT SPICY!

It’s pretty common in India, when you order a Lemon Soda, for the waiters to ask if you want it sweet or salty. If you choose sweet, you will have panela to put inside your drink. Ahhhh, but if you order it salty… you will obviously will be brought some salt and will be having a nightmare of a drink.

During our short stay in Kochi, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant twice. We indulged in various dishes, including two different types of pizza. While all the food was delicious, one pizza, in particular, won us over completely. Named "Mrs. Rosemary," this pizza delighted our taste buds with its mouthwatering combination of BBQ sauce, cashew cheese, marinated mock meat, capsicum, onion, and fresh rosemary. Often, vegan pizzas fall short when it comes to the cheese, but this one exceeded our expectations. I'm truly intrigued by the secrets behind its creation! I can't express how much I enjoyed it!

This roll is definitely one of my favorite dishes at the restaurant. The minty dip and pickles complement it perfectly. It has just the right amount of spiciness. I would return just to have it again! In addition to the amazing food, the restaurant has a beautiful exterior. The open kitchen and wild jackfruit trees make it even more appealing.

As you’ll see in my photos, we went to this restaurant twice (day and night) during our holiday in Kochi! The food is delicious and creative. The staff are friendly and we absolutely loved the look of the place. Such a hidden gem! The growing jackfruit and kittens running around make the place even more special. Highly recommended! The vegan sushi was really tasty. They offer two kinds, one with mock meat and one with veggies only. Both are worth a try!

The burger was great and quite filling. We particularly liked the mustard and vinaigrette thing it was served with. The patty could have been a tad bit less salty and we missed some lettuce or greens between the buns. The other veggies and the cashew cheese worked well.
