Life Cafe sadly has a sob #accidentallyvegan drinks selection 👎 Well, up until recently at least. They seem to have added a bunch of #soymilk options to their menu to complement their large #murdairy #milktea selection. For a cordial, the #mango doesn’t even taste half bad and considering their #mylk is powdered it’s pretty milky too 🥛 Two yikes can make a right, apparently 😅 This doesn’t have #boba by default but I just had to have it since it was an option. Now, frankly I won’t recommend it unless you’re a real #bobalover because as would turn out to be the case with shaved ice and cordial, the balls just stay on top and SMG their way down your throat at the end 💀 It’s then when you think, “Hey, at least I bought myself a drink first” 😮‍💨

Though it’s not advertised properly, all the #vegetarian food here is actually #vegan 😆 Many thanks again to my friend who used to be the operations manager for their ingredients 🙏 The omnivore version of this is their absolute signature. It’s all about the #spice with the #noodles here 😉 It’s a bit of a bummer that the only #veganfriendly #noodle option is this #vermicelli BUT it’s really well done 😛 I do love slurpin’ on this gentle but thick sauce soaker 😝 From the S to XXL spice level offered, I always get the standard M 😌 It’s a good level for struggling spice lovers like myself 🙃 It hits my savoury notes to great satisfactions! I feel as though I recognise the #mockmeat which is a brand I can’t recall but it’s good!! It still has that slightly fibrous plant feel 😗 RM13.90 ‘cause times are tough so I can’t complain really… 😶 I do recommend as they’re a franchise that remains open later than the handful of vegetarian restaurants in Kuching 😅

Even the omnis love this! 😋 #omnivoreapproved The #dumplings have a nice crispy skin and the ratio of skin to meat is perfect! I’m not sure what else to say that hasn’t already been said. I’ve had the #chickenchop 😛 I’ve had the #spicy #noodles 😋 Both have already won my heart 😍 and my tastebuds, so this order was a no brainier 😏 The #veganchicken like everything else on their #vegetarian menu is #naturallyvegan!! 😝 If only it were labelled more explicitly so… though, it’s still here! Furthermore, you #spicelovers will be glad to know the #spice levels on the noodles are adjustable 😉 from S to XL. The #curry sauce is fixed in a heat level that seems minute at first but sneakily builds as you’re distractedly munching at the scrumptious #crunch of the #mockchicken’s incredible breading 🤪 The one thing I must sadly report is that the only #vegannoodles available are these here #vermicelli 🥲 Personally though, I’m happy with it as it’s the thicker variant 😋 I believe this was about RM25 or so but it’s a full meal who’s worth may be assessed by the firey exit to come 😂 Worth every bite for me though… 😜

Okay… this may be quite #abillionhacks -esque but this IS technically a separate dish 😏 It’s basically the same curry #chickenchop 👉 https://www.abillion.com/reviews/6339a79bece4ab38b1a64630 but with salt and pepper 🤤 You always get a satisfyingly firm bite through the overall #mockmeat 😋 The exterior is an incredibly coated batter reminiscent of a kind of Japanese #chicken rice flour batter 🤓 UGHHHH!! It’s just so good 🤪 Every munch is truly a munch with a crunch that’s audibly evident 💥 The saltiness was adequate 😛 as was the pepper (because Sarawak hahaa 😉) They’re also deceptively filling 😮‍💨 This doesn’t come with rice but should you order an additional side, you may find yourself STUFFED 😝 RM15.90 for this savoury side of #deepfried protein that screams #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease I do highly recommend! 😜

I have praised their #veganchicken in a million reviews already by now 🐣 So really it’s just your call if you want it with the rice or #noodles 🍜 The #curry sauce they pour over their #friedchicken isn’t #spicy in the least but it’s a nice level of thick and.. creamy..? 😅 Some may add that it would be #betterwithoutcoriander and while I don’t care for it in this context, I don’t have the embarrassing soap gene so I can at least enjoy the presentation 🧬

There was some crispy #deepfried goodness on the #fakemeat #veganchicken, which was great 😃 Then there was the #spicy stuff they call #curry sauce. The side was some #noodles (due diligence has been done and the only choice you have here is vermicelli, and that too ones that taste like shirataki 😅) whose spice levels could be configured. @dafnelately went for the max setting 😋 Oh yes, this was 100% stolen from her, because #abillionhacks #forthedollar 😉
