this was by far my favorite #vegandonut from this batch i ordered at liberation kitchen! the #flapjack was a #donut topped with #maple #glaze and a #spiced #chocolate #crumble this donut was probably the most moist out of the batch, and i was very happy to see it wasn’t dry. the #mapleglaze was delicious, and i didn’t expect it to even be on the donut so it was a welcome surprise! texturally accurate as well! the #veganchocolate crumb was my favorite part tbh… i loved the #spices and the texture of the crumb was a nice contrast with the glaze. it was a little small for the price, but delicious and impressive nonetheless. overall, i would recommend this donut the most.. to me it is the most creative and memorable. if you love chocolate and spiced maple this is the one for you!

this #vegandonut was #refreshing and #light ! a fried donut, filled with #veganwhippedcream and #lemoncurd , and topped with #powderedsugar .. yum! it was pretty tasty overall. the #lemon #curd was very well made and had a tangy flavor! the #whippedcream was also expertly made. very good texture and consistency. the powdered sugar was a nice touch! the limiting factor was actually the #donut itself. i feel like the donut was a little dry, and i could definitely taste whatever it was fried in a little more than i’d like to. despite that, i think i’d still order this one again because that lemon curd and whipped cream were both very good!

i did not know what #bumpycake was, so i was surprised to find this #chocolate #cake #donut has a #buttercream (i think?) center! nice surprise! 😇 this #vegandonut was perfect for a #chocoholic . the chocolate cake donut is solid, and while not especially moist it’s definitely not dry. the #frosting is delicious and well-made. the texture is great. i would order this #vegandonut again for sure. a double chocolate surprise!

this was a solid #vegandonut ! perfect for those who love #strawberries , #summer , and #whippedcream ! first of all, this #donut was so cute! i loved the presentation. the donut itself didn’t leave a huge impression, but was good. i loved the #veganwhippedcream .. they got the flavor and texture just right! the #strawberry #frosting was also spot-on; not too #sweet but not too tart. what really put it all together were the fresh strawberries themselves! there was one on top, and a bunch of sliced ones sandwiched between the two donut halves. i’m not a huge strawberry fan, so this isn’t my first choice in flavor.. but i really enjoyed trying it and i’m definitely glad i did! i’d recommend getting this donut👍

this #chocolatesprinkle #vegandonut was pretty basic, but tasted fine. it is a #classic , but it was expecting a little more out of it because when doing the classics, they gotta be solid. for what it was, this #donut was good but not my favorite. it was a plain donut, and while not dry it wasn’t particularly moist either. the #chocolate #frosting was tasty, and the sprinkles were just #sprinkles. while this was good, i definitely have other #donuts i liked more from this batch.

this #vegandonut was okay. i did like it, but it didn’t really impress me or stand out at all. it’s a little small for the price. this was a #doublechocolate donut with a #chocolate base and chocolate #frosting. it was topped with some #sprinkles. this is good for #chocoholic s, but there are also better chocolate #donuts i got here to be honest. overall, this #donut was okay but not my favorite and i think i’d prefer to order other things on the menu.

okay i’m not gonna lie… not a big fan of this #vegandonut . while i appreciated the #eclair concept and thought it was pretty #creative, i just did not like the #oatmilk #pastry cream. there was something about it that tasted a little bit fake or artificial. perhaps that’s what all eclair filling tastes like, but i just really did not enjoy this one. the actual #donut was good and all, and the #chocolate on top was pretty tasty, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the pastry cream that i really didn’t like 😣

literally amazing. 100/10. this #veganmacandcheese was SO good…. some of the best #macandcheese i’ve had for sure. the #veganbacon bits were tasty and realistic; the dish as a whole was expertly #seasoned and it hit all the texture points of nonvegan #macncheese ! it wasn’t overly salty or overly greasy either. i could feed this to an omni friend and they would never be able to tell… 🤫 this is definitely one of my top #veganmacncheese options… i think i will order it every time i’m here ! #veganinillinois #chicago #veganchicago

I love Liberation Kitchen & Upton’s Naturals!! This breakfast bowl was so good. Greens, tofu scramble, seitan bac0n, hash browns, chz sauce & truffle sriracha. I also had a donut milkshake, I wish I took a picture, it tasted just like a Wendy’s frosty 🥲 10/10 a must if you are in Chicago

Pumpkin donut with #pumpkinspice glaze and a little whip cream. I normally don't get pumpkin spice food/drinks because the spice can be aggressive and there are so many others flavors I like more, but I can still appreciate that this was tasty! The flavor wasn't overwhelming, and it wasn't too sweet either. Some donuts at other places are way too sweet, but donuts from Liberation Kitchen are never that intense. I definitely appreciate the more subtle sweetness. The consistency of the cake donut is great. This seasonal flavor is going away, but if you like #pumpkin spice, I'd recommend trying it when it's available. $3.75 for a single donut is expensive in my opinion because they're so small. If I ever want donuts from here, I use the too good to go app because I get a great discount and I help the store reduce food waste. #toogoodtogo

Yum! I was grabbing some donuts here and decided to try this #sausage roll for a small lunch. It was actually pretty filling. The sausage has a great texture and flavor. I don't remember if the sausage is made in-house or if it's a brand that you can buy in a grocery store. The pastry dough on the outside is nice and flakey, though it left my fingers feeling greasy. I was grabbing food to-go since they haven't fully setup their in-door seating yet, but that should be available soon! $6 before tax is alright in terms of value.
