Oh, I was so woefully sad to come here only to be told the pulled jackfruit wasn't in supply today, so settled for an ala carte side of hummus instead. The hummus was so-so and still passable. But the pita bread was really uninspired - it was lifeless and stale.

Basmati rice (or couscous +$2) grain bowl topped with #karana minced / pulled young jackfruit, red onion, tomatoes, Japanese cucumber, mixed cabbage, and lettuce. 🧅🍅🥒🥬 Opted for the garlic sauce dressing which was indicated as vegan-friendly, but I personally found it a bit suspiciously creamy, so I would recommend going for the hot sauce and/or olive oil dressing as safer choices... Healthy grain bowl albeit not particularly exciting with the default ingredients; there's a customisable salad bowl with other toppings available. P.S. The other vegan protein available is falafel. There are two vegan protein options at Kebab Faktory - Falafel and Impossible. The kebab roll is stuffed with lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber and onion. Chose the falafel here and found it a tad dry. The sauces that are vegan are clearly indicated - garlic sauce and their Faktory hot sauce. Kebab was nicely grilled. Would try the impossible the next time! Paid: $7.90

Nice tasting pita pocket with a good mix of vegetables, falafel and chili sauce at reasonable price below SGD8. Selection of veg and sauces are customizable.
