I think this is our new favorite sandwich here! The James & The Giant Peach sandwich: Vegan Fried Chicken, Ike's Yellow BBQ Sauce, Cheddar. All sandwiches are served hot with dirty sauce, lettuce, and tomato. We also enjoyed the Pilgrim (Thanksgiving on a sandwich) and you can't go wrong with Meatless Mike-- Best vegan meatballs in America according to PETA. We are eyeing the Maya Angelou sandwich for next time!! We absolutely love Ike's Love & Sandwiches and it's a must visit any time we are in SF/ Bay Area . It's a chain with 74 locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, Utah. They have several amazing vegan signature sandwiches, and they also have vegan meat and vegan cheese so you can pretty much veganize anything on the menu. They have unique subs and endless combinations, it's infinitely better than Subway or most other chains!! I believe all or most of their bread choices are vegan except for their gluten free bread. The employee at this location told me the gluten free bread is NOT vegan, but I just saw on VeggL 2022 that the gluten free bread IS vegan?? Yum!! This is like having #VeganThanksgiving on a sub! 😋 Vegan turkey, cranberry, Sriracha, vegan cheddar served hot with dirty sauce, lettuce, and tomato. We've had this sandwich a few times and love it!! It's so good! However we also just tried their vegan James & The Giant Peach sandwich and we both liked that one even more!!
