Priced cheaper than McD's albeit tinier at $2.90 (oatmilk version at $3.90) but tastes way better with no acidic vibes. Matcha and red bean is one of these combinations that work really well. That said I could not really taste the matcha in this steamed bun. The red bean paste was interesting with a zesty twist - perhaps orange peel was added. Overall, liked the slate of vegan baos at Greendot.

What with the gold edible paint glowing on this black charcoal bao I swear it has more makeup than I do. Unfortunately it has more going for it in terms of looks than substance. The truffle-infused vegetable and mushroom filling was too little, while the taste of truffle was severely, almost undetectable.

This small crumbly steamed bao may not look that impressive, but boy, did the red date and walnut paste filling impress! My only complaint - the same for the other baos I tried at Greendot NEX today too - is that the flour crust is way too thick. Otherwise it was like some sort of warming TCM elixir that felt really indulgent.

Love this! Comforting bowl of laksa. Comes with beancurd skin, broccoli, tau pok, konnyaku prawn, konnyaku fishball and mushroom. Not too spicy or salty. Good size portion. Would order again! Price: $9.90
