Many vegan options and big portions! Love the half and half option. The crispy cauliflower and tofu are delicious!

I want more!!! I was so happy to find an equally delicious option on the Bao Wow menu that was gluten-free 🙌 (although, I am concerned that the tofu was dipped in a batter that could have had flour in it, so check before if you have a severe gluten intolerance/allergy) Holy moly. The brightness of the citrus sauce with the crispy tofu, and a little bit of chilli 🌶 had my taste buds dancing! A truly stunning dish.

Wow! 🙌💚 A fantastic, full of flavour dish for R95 had my partner smiling from ear to ear on our drive to Nature's Valley. Would highly recommend trying this restaurant out, not to mention that the building it's in is filled with an endless supply of cool things 🤩 This bao bun has a softness from the bun, a crunch from the slaw and a sticky, moreishness from the mushrooms... all together creating a very satisfying experience!

I love chilli and I love crispy tofu so I was so excited about this. But something in just didn’t sit well with me. I think it was the sauce - it tasted too mayo-y and I don’t enjoy mayo. The bun was super soft though! I’d like to try this again with one of the other fillings. #bao #baobun #steamedbun #tofu #chinese #chinesefood

Spectacular bowl of kimchi rice, rainbow slaw and crispy tofu bites in a very mildly chilli, citrus sauce. All their bowls are available as bao fillings too. The restaurant - Knysna's answer to Joburg's Umami Asia - shares dining space with other restaurants and the servers just gather your order off the menus from the various providers, so there is lots to choose from... but it will be hard look further than Bao Wow. 😍 Need to eat all.the.things 💥 Super tasty and, great value. I can't wait to go back.

Spectacular bowl of rice, rainbow slaw and floured (I think) mushrooms covered in a sweet-savoury, sticky sauce. All dishes available as bao filling or as a kimchi rice bowl. Delicious, great value. I'll be returning for sure to get more of this and to try some of their other items.
