This stall has a vegetarian menu which is awesome and the lady asked if I take egg and I said no. This has so many ingredients compared to fried rice at many places! So worth it for $6.50. It has tofu too for protein. There's a good mix of veggie which gives it a nice flavour from being cooked in veg oyster sauce I think. There's very nice sweetness from the pineapple 🍍 and raisins, what a variety of taste in this dish. I'd give this full marks if it were slightly saltier, was a tad not salty enough but the stall owners were so busy I decided not to bother them. I enjoy the food at this stall but many times I went they weren't open, happy they were open today. 🍍

Yum! So happy this stall has a vegetarian menu, which I think is allium free. The hawker asked me if I want egg and I declined I think it normally comes with a fried egg. It is so satisfying regardless! Chopped long beans, shimeiji and enoki mushrooms and tofu pieces in vegetarian oyster sauce (they told me they use vegetarian oyster sauce specially for their veg dishes!) There were basil leaves that give it a unique delicious aroma. There was chilli inside which made it pretty spicy, want to ask for less spicy next time. For $6.50 at such a prime location, I think its pretty reasonable, it's satisfying and plentiful. There was a lot of sauce which made it on the salty side, which I feedbacked. I would definitely buy from this stall again. They cater for vegetarians and have tasty, satisfying meals.

So glad I found this stall with vegetarian options at Newton Food Centre! This is vegan by default without egg. It is spicy but not too spicy, I like green curry and it has a good range of ingredients including tofu. There are peanuts and dried chilli at the stall and I put some peanuts. $6.50 for the curry and $1 for white rice which is on the pricier side.

This is SO GOOD 🥲 I don't even like mushrooms usually. Good amount of sauce, quite spicy. Lots of long beans! Order without egg. #veganuary

Yummy, same seasoning as the glass noodles, just with different noodles. the hor fun is smooth and well-flavoured! Not as big a portion as the olive fried rice. Crunchy veggie stems! Again, order without egg. #veganuary

I LOVE this. Ask for it without egg. Super yummy and generous serving. The rice is so well flavoured and the fruit on top (not sure if it's pineapple or mango??) Is so delicious! Served with tofu, fresh onion and some veggies too #veganuary

They label their vegetarian options on their menu. I asked for no egg. A generous portion, cost $6. Long waiting time as they cook on the spot. So much veggies including fresh ones as well as fried tofu, though I couldn’t really tell what was the salted olive. Quite salty and sour, on the dry side but still ok. Added peanuts for extra flavor.

Friendly reminder of Thailand in Amoy Food Centre. They have vege options which I couldn't wait to try. Phad thai - $6, was authentic, flavourful.. and you can freely sprinkle as much chilli/ peanut powder on the noodles.. yumm 😋 The green vege a bit bitter though.

It was surprisingly really tasty. It isn't obvious that the dish lacks meat at all. And the veggies were really crunchy and nice as well!
