I decided to try the Malacca style dish. I asked for medium spicy so it came with this chilli paste. Comes with pineapple (hidden at the bottom) and BBQ Gluten.

This is pretty simple but good. Mock chicken and vegetables. Especially with some chilli sauce.

This comes with coconut rice, cashew nuts, slices of cucumber. You can choose between vegetable tofu curry (this) or potato soya slice curry. This is an all vegan restaurant 😀 They have quite a menu; I have included pics of two pages but there are four pages. The dessert option is Sago Malacca. Served with lychee, coconut cream and gula Malacca. Their POS terminal only reads NZ cards. You may need to pay cash if you don't have one #100percentvegan

I heard a lot of people like this, I'm not really sure what it has over the laksa. The dumplings are house made and pretty good and there are a lot of noodles under everything. The flavour is a pretty mild noodly flavour. Yeah, not really sure what the deal is

Aunty Mena’s is one of my all time favourite vegan restaurants in Wellington - they have some really delicious and affordable meals. But I have to say that I was a little disappointed by this soup. The mushroom wontons are silky smooth and very tasty, but overall this dish was a bit plain. Great if you feel like something simple, but I personally prefer the Wonton Laksa for a little more flavour - and you can add noodles for $3.5 NZD to make for a more filling meal. $15 NZD on the dinner menu.

This is one of my top two dishes at this place. Alongside the nasi goreng. A lot of people prefer the mock chicken version which replaces the Vege balls, but the original seems slightly better to me. The laksa flavour is satisfying and the mock meats and noodles go so well with it. It does take a while to cool down though. Super filling! This is the kinda dish you can go back to time and time again :)

Definitely my favourite Nasi goreng in Wellington. If you like mock chicken that they do here you're better off with the Ayam variant. This has BBQ gluten that tastes like char siu, it's great stuff!

The original or the nasi goreng Ayam are probably better value since they have mock meats. But this is an excellent option if you want a change in flavour or you're not a mock meat type of person :)
