Veggie Noodle Soup

These are a little treat once in a while, but boy do I enjoy them! They remind me when I was a teenager and we used to do the Mr. Noodles, we would break them up, shake the powder in the bag for a snack when we couldn’t cook them. They bring back all the feels of those times. In a hallway, nibbling them while studying and chatting with friends. Such good memories! These noodles are one of the only spicy things I can handle! lol. I absolutely love the salty flavour and the spicy kick. We pick them up at London Drugs and can get a bag of 4 for $7.99. So about $2.00 a bag on its own. The noodles are thin and delicious, and like when you leave them to soak a little extra longer in the liquid. Very flavourful, but definitely a little treat occasionally. I also enjoy them when you come home from a hard day and don’t feel like having to cook. They take 5 minutes on the stove top and we will have toast to dunk into them with it. Definitely not healthy, but worth it once in a blue moon! It was less than okay. I was excited to try but the smell turned me off. It’s just not for me. I’m picky so someone else may enjoy it. I tried them bc of the reviews. I like the noodles themself but not a fan of the flavor. Will not be buying again. Chef Woo’s vegan Ramen is my go to.

This is the brand of basic vegan ramen I've been eating for years. Mild flavour, but I always jazz up the broth with other ingredients and add veggies. I like that Nongshim clearly label their products as vegan on the packaging. I've now discovered the shin flavour is much more delicous, but I only seem to find it at certain Asian supermarkets so it's a bit more difficult to find than this Soon one.

This is the mild one, and I'm sweating while trying to eat it. Very spicy! The portion size is supposedly only half the package, and the sodium content is super high. Wouldn't buy again.
