Veggie Jerky Black Bean Sauce Flavour

Made with textured vegetable protein (tvp) these vegan #jerky are very #meaty and #highprotein (22,5g/100g). The consistency is very hard and chewy though - might be the toughest #veganmeat I’ve ever tried. Oh yes I did! Just took delivery of 32 bags of this Black Bean Sauce Flavoured Veggie Jerky from Kings. Don’t judge. 🙂 We love this snack at my house. Full of plant-based protein. So tasty.

A bit disappointing. Each chunk was tiny and the flavour was a bit dull. Not worth the money.

Yeah! These are pretty nice! They have a good chewy texture and a slight spicy flavour. They’re 70p in my local Tesco’s so can’t complain!

*update* I can't totally blame this as I've got a ridiculous amount of stress on, but these feel like they have badly triggered my IBS, which I haven't had since going Vegan* Never been a Jerky eater but thought I'd try as an office snack. Tough, fibery and chewy but not unenjoyable whilst sat at my laptop. Peppery, fairly moorish. Would pick up again but wouldn't go out hunting
