Vegetarian Mushroom Balls 香菇丸

I love something high volume low calorie 🙏 Each #meatball is only 30 calories with 4g of #protein at a 30g serving 🙌 Chop them in half and you’ve got plenty to work with 😋 They do indeed have a very noticeable #mushroom flavour, though my iPhone would rather suggest the word “effect” 🧐 Unfortunately, I did not trip on these balls 🎳 I don’t leave my food on the floor, unlike my cockroach enthusiast housemates 🪳 These were relatively cheap at Ang Mo supermarket, at least cheap enough for me not to have taken note of the price tag 🏷️ Pair them with some Everbest #tofu for a meal very reminiscent of Cantonese #fishballs soup 🤗 Props to @m1tch9i for the meals, by the way 💖

Yummy!! Nice, soft and chewy👍🏻 Had a taste that I can’t really describe but something like mushroom, seaweed and chilli? Either way, this was quite good. Yummy in steamboat

I was feeling a little adventurous to see how these mushrooms ball taste like. We had them for steamboat. I don’t especially enjoy them.

The mushroom balls come well-flavoured; makes a convenient addition to noodle or soup dishes without the need for additional seasoning.

Got this pack from NTUC and it tastes a lot like fishballs! I cooked it up with vegetable stock to make “fishball” soup and it didn’t disappoint 😝 #veganuary #mushroom #veganfishballs
