Vegetables and Kimchi Dumplings

Hands down the tastiest convenient ready-made dumplings (and I've definitely tried a lot of different ones!). Very savoury. The kimchi offers red colours and some spice, and the wrapper is light but not delicate, and definitely not thick and doughy. These are from Woolies but otherwise some Asian grocers also stock Bibigo.

Some pretty good dumplings from Bibigo! I was quite surprised by the filling’s texture at first: it is kinda creamy with pieces of veggies - but ended up enjoying it. Slightly too sweet for my likings though. I like how chewy yet not too thick the dough is. The dumplings are huge, quite filling (and I wouldn’t have more than 3 in a meal as I feel the taste can get cloying at some point) and barely spicy. Had previously tried to pan fry them, but I feel like they are way better cooked this way (simply steamed). But that’s a question of likings for sure!

Didn’t quite like it.. skin and taste so so.. the filling is rather ‘grainy’ ‘powdery’ in texture with bits of veg. But then it’s a good vegan option when craving for kimchi dumplings.. till I find the next better one.
