Vegan Sausages

One of my favorite meat substitute. Taste is acceptable and texture is nice. Goes well with hotdog bun or cut to cubes for fried rice. #veganisnotscary

These don't have a lot of taste by themselves but they're chewy and somehow pretty addictive. Pretty oily when taken out of the pack. Best to eat them with things that aren't too strong tasting or it'll overpower them. I had them with glass noodles, and they were tasty and just nice. I first had had cut up and stir fried in pasta but I made my pasta so flavourful that it overpowered the sausages. $2.50 from Ang Mo. I might get them again, they're somehow pretty addictive.

I can't remember what non-vegan sausages taste like but I don't think I was ever a fan. Ordered this just to try it out and because it's super cheap. 36 sausages for $8. It tasted exactly like what I was expecting - of soy and with a chewy texture. Quick addition to lunches to boost nutritional content!
