Ultimate chick’n filets

Low in saturated fat but very high in sodium, so I'll be sticking to half servings. #FauxFowlFriday

They really revamped the chicken patty with these and it separates like real chicken. It’s great in the air fryer.

I know Gardein revamped some of their products to keep up with momentum in the plant-based freezer aisle, so I decided to try the new chick'n filets when they were on sale. And the new chick'n filets are not cheap-- typically priced at $8.99 or $9.99 for a package of three. The actual product doesn't look much like the crunchy filet on the package, does it? I didn't have any fresh toppings to use, but I added pickles to mimic the Chick-fil-a experience and also some homemade buffalo ranch sauce. And the sandwich was TASTY. Especially when I got to the bites with the pickle chips. The flavor was nice and the texture was, too.

These chicken filets are super good. I made one filet into a Buffalo chicken sandwich for lunch. The only thing that’s weird is that there are only 3 filets in a package. So it comes out to $2.60 per filet. Still not terrible and definitely cheaper than going out to eat 😃

So good!! Taste like real chicken. I recommand for sure amd would buy it again.
