Organic Creamy Mushroom Soup

We really enjoyed this creamy #mushroomsoup from #traderjoes . It finally came in and we

were excited to try it! Not the healthiest soup but definitely a good option! Nice mushroom 🍄 flavor with chopped #mushrooms, #carrots and #kale . A bit high in sodium 🧂 and I feel it could of used some barley or rice to make more hearty. Still a good vegan 🌱 soup from #traderjoes ! So bummed they discontinued the vegan green pozole that we oh so love 💚🌱 this time of year!

Really tasty soup that feels home-made. Very flavorful, I liked the slices of mushrooms and

other veggies. But it was not cheap ($4.50 I think) and the packaging sucks (plastic) so I will probably not repurchase.

I’m so excited about the continuing release of new vegan options at Trader Joe’s.

This one particularly caught my eye as I love mushrooms and it would be lovely to have a vegan creamy mushroom soup on the market.

Unfortunately I found this soup to be lackluster and a bit confusing. I was leery when I saw the calorie count of 170 for the container - one would expect a creamy soup to have more calories. It does contain coconut milk but the consistency is between brothy and creamy.

The mushroom, carrot and kale pieces are very nice. I do not feel as though the soup was really seasoned that well, though.

Between the “creamy” soup not being totally creamy and the flavor being underwhelming this felt like a recipe that began but wasn’t finished.

I’m probably a soup snob, but when I find a soup in the fridge section my expectation is that it shouldn’t need any doctoring except maybe some pepper to taste.

Not bad, but not satisfying.

Whenever I hear creamy I’m afraid to try something. Frankly it’s never vegan anyway. But

this is pretty flavorful and I love mushrooms so this is a winner. It has an earthy taste to it so might not be for everyone.

It’s delicious and chunky soup. I love the carrots and mushrooms!
