The Herb Cream Cheese

This one took a few days after initially trying for me to review as my thoughts are a bit jumbled. I think this is a great product - just not for me. I’m glad to see seed-based cream cheeses on the market for those who have nut allergies but enjoy the nutty creaminess that seeds can also lend a product. I had another sunflower seed based cream cheese before and loved it so I was hopeful about this one. This cream cheese has a nice texture! It is close to that of Kite Hill - almost whipped and super spreadable! It is very herby - which I love! Upon first taste I was hit with the lovely combo of sunflower seeds and herbs, but then I was hit with that dairy tang. I’m not quite sure how to describe it but there’s this particular sourness in actual dairy that I sometimes find replicated in vegan products; it just grosses me out BUT I think others may really like it. (I could never stomach dairy cream cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, or milk but I know many folks can.) This sunflower cream cheese tastes aHHmazing!! One point lost for “natural flavors”, which can mean anything, including allergens. Otherwise good product.

One of the better cream cheeses I have tried in the US. It is flavorful and really tastes fresh, like herbs. The consistency is quite thick though so it is a bit hard to spread.
