Tempeh

Got myself this bargain at Asda in Yorkshire. Wish these were cheaper all year round.

Anyone got any tips/recipes for tempeh? I’ve never tried #tempeh before, but I’ve heard lots of good things about it and I thought I’d give it a try! I wasn’t really sure how to eat it, so I marinaded it and had it fried in a sandwich (like I would tofu) - it was delicious and quite meat-like in texture. Today I had it ‘raw’ in a salad, and though I’m not sure I like the flavour much (it’s quite strong), it was still nice :) #biona #fermented #fermentedfoods #fermentedveganfood #meatalternative

Always been skeptical about tempeh but with the right dressing this one tastes amazing

I'm not a good fan of the tempeh for its taste. I often keep it in my pantry since it's rich in nutrients and a doing alternative to legumes. This product is one of the best I tried. The glass jar is reusable once washed.

Excellent alternative to poultry meat. This brand avoids any plastic in the packaging. Affordable.
