Taco Filling

I did not have high hopes but decided to give this a try anyway. This is actually good, even my non vegan spouse said it looked, smelled, and tasted like taco meat. If you like Taco Bell pre - vegan, this is going to satisfy your craving, without the infamous Taco Bell after affect 😉. This is textured soy protein, so the texture is going to be softer, fluffier than ground meat. But we are vegans right? We expect this. It has just the right amount of seasonings, and that oily appearance of fast food taco’s. I really liked this for a fast, “satisfy my craving” dinner. This wasnt very appealing to me nor super tasty. Brought on some deja vu. I think it prolly tastes like tacobell ground beef (definitely looks like it!). I got this on sale for 99cents, if I remember right, at Aldi I believe. I wouldnt buy it again, even for that same price. Never been a fan of ground beef of any kind though. My kids wouldnt try it because it looked like wet canned dog food. It didnt taste bad really, just not good to me at all. Also not the consistency I want on a taco. It was mushy ofcourse.

I picked this up at Aldis it was reasonably priced . This was so convenient after a long day at work and not wanting  to prepare anything this and a salad was great 60 seconds in microwave.
