Sunsweet Dried Plums

A simple favorite — I’ve honestly lost count of the number of times I’ve repurchased these big bags at Costco! The prunes are soft, succulent, and bursting with sweetness. They’re sticky and more juicy than other #driedfruits, too. The little divots in the biconcave plums can function as tiny bowls: as a special treat, I’ll sometimes stuff the cavity with peanut butter (as is often done with dates, only better!) I wish I could take credit for this #snack innovation, but it’s apparently already a popular appetizer in the Caribbean. I’ve also daydreamed about tossing them in the food processor with almond butter to create some Californian energy bites. I definitely recommend these; they’re such a sweet and economical way to add a little #fiber and happiness to your diet! They’re especially nice in the wintertime, when fresh fruit is less abundant — just a couple can go a long way toward staving off the blues.

These are a tasty snack, and dried fruit is a great deal at Costco.
