correct me if I'm wrong but korean sauces tend to have anchovy bases or other
non plant based ingredients so I was delighted to find this vegan gochujang :D tastes as one would expect korean chilli paste to taste like although it's not particularly spicy. used it to make tteokbokki and it tasted great!

Wasn’t sure what I was expecting it to taste like since I’ve never had gochujang
before. I got this at Fairprice Finest. I expected it to be slightly sweet but it wasn’t and I don’t know how to put the taste into words. I read other reviews that said this tastes like the classic Korean gochujang so I’d say go for it! Made fried rice with this and it tasted great.

Gotta love gochujang! I add this to so many dishes now and it makes everything
taste amazing. For example, my sticky gochujang eggplant as shown in the last photo, which is heavenly.
