I don’t remember the price, but it was less than $2. I’ve been trying to cut back on potato chip snacking, but the smokey bbq flavour and the compostable bag really intrigued me.  I have no idea if this bag is actually compostable in the City of Toronto, but I like the idea. At the very least, I will attempt to recycle this bag.  As the front of the package indicates, these potato chips are light and crispy. They’re not as greasy as I thought they would be and I’m quite impressed by the fact that all the ingredients are organic and there isn’t a lot of sodium. These chips are delicious source of potassium.  Before this purchase, I have never heard of Humble Potato Chips. So naturally, I would not know where to buy these. But I would definitely get them again. 

Who knew you could screw up potato chips? This was so bad I had to throw them out. Luckily, it was in a compostable bag. This was $6.

What I like about this company is that their chips are organic and the bags are biodegradable. How is it that a smaller company such as this can do that and the giants cannot? 🤔

Hell yeah! These were sweet and smokey, more flavorful than their sea salt cider vinegar flavor. Packaging is industrially compostable. Bought at well.ca

Eco-anxious junk food vegans rejoice! A bag of chips with compostable packaging! The day has finally come. The chips themselves are okay, a bit underwhelming (kind of like Lays, the bbq is very subtle). But holy heck compostable packaging!! Didn’t know it was possible. Anyway, happy that a chip company is blazing the trail to a sustainable snack future.
