Gardein products are always good. These crumbles break up nicely and aren’t chewy like some we’ve tried. Great!
Flavor requires lots of your own seasoning. Texture is off-putting for me. Wouldn't buy again.
Good #meatsubstitute for #tacos with some onion, green pepper, and spices. Was a little dry compared to others, but that's likely my own cooking error. Lower calorie to protein ratio, which is a plus. Big fan of Gardein products in general and have used this ground for many years now. Though I also use other brands for grounds as well I’m never disappointed with this one. The base flavor is pleasant but pretty neutral so you’re able to create your dish without any conflicting flavors. I also like that the package is resealable and the product has a good “freezer life” so you don’t have to feel rushed to consume the whole container quickly.
