Perfect to add to salad, tofu or when I make vegan cheese from potatoes and carrots. Is it a real cheese flavour. Not sure about that but it tastes delicious.
Everyone always likens nutritional yeast to cheese... These are definitely some kind of mild funky savoury but not quite cheesy. Love using these as a flavoursome topping. And they also add almost a light crispiness if I don't leave them sitting around for too long haha... Plus a good source of B12 🙂
It's nooch and it tastes like nooch. Imported, unfortunately. Surely this can be made locally! At $8 for 200g, I'll probably buy it again unless I find a more affordable source.
My first time cooking with nutritional yeast. Thr's quite a few things tht I've only eaten outside not tried cooking it myself. I added this to my plant balls,with miso sauce(next post) My friends say it's nice, very cheesy n different frm what they've tried. Ill experiment cooking more with this,quite excited abt it but been too busy to cook lately. Yikes.
