It regularly retails for about $6.99 or $7.99. The value at Grocery Outlet is outstanding! As usual, Gardein didn’t disappoint. The plant-based Chick’n Tenders are indeed hot. Not overly hot, but there’s certainly a noticeable heat / kick to them. I was happy. Someone at Gardein must have a very good sense of humor. The serving size is the entire bag, which happened to be my serving size when I cooked these. Good or bad, I ate all 9 pieces. In doing so, I got more than my day’s worth of iron and vitamin B12. I also ingested a fair amount of thiamine, niacin, zinc, vitamin B6 and a variety of other nutrients as well. But on the downside, this one serving gave me 2/3rds of my day’s sodium too. I guess you take the good with the bad. Regardless, I would definitely get these again, but I wouldn’t pay the regular retail price.

Gardein was our first goto protein meat alternatives when we became vegan, and is sourced locally where we lived. These were a little to hot for my little british mouth. Still great flavour and texture regardless.

These were really good! Air fryed a few today to make a quick sandwich and it was delicous. Great texture and the bread crumb doesn't fall off like some breaded tenders. I love Gardein products in general, though they are a bit expensive. This was a steal at $2 from the Grocery Outlet so I stocked up on a few bags! I usually find single Gardein product for $7-$8 at regular grocery stores.

These are good, just a tad spicy. Great with ketchup. There are only 7 in a bag, or at least the bag that I got. I wish there were more in it!

If you have ever had the normal gardein tenders these are basically the exact same thing with some spiciness and flavor. They are great! I air fried them and they came out cripsy and delicious. #gardein #veganchicken #protein #spicy #quickandeasy
