Today it’s my favourite day of the year! My better half @derelectt ‘s birthday 🥳 decided to spoil him (us 😂) with a box of his pre-vegan faves… in vegan format, of course 😎 koeksisters, malva pudding, and chocolate walnut fudge! We haven’t had koeksisters in YEARS and these were amazing! Not overly sticky nor sickly sweet, but the texture and taste just as I remembered. Packaged beautifully, too (swipe to second pic) .. they were sent by courier overnight from Joburg and arrived in one piece, in spite of the courier’s devil-may-care way of rummaging for it in the back of his van (so much for the “fragile” sticker 😂). #greytonfarmanimalsanctuary #proudlysouthafrican #localislekker #koeksister #yumbaker #veganisnotscary 👻

Hot damn!!!! Oh how I have missed this deep fried dough doused in sugary syrup.🤤 These are awesome! Crunchy dough and full of syrup!
