Pasta is one of two vegan meals they know how to prepare. Regardless of their limited culinary imagination, I was very appreciative that they got me Daiya Italian 4 Cheeze Flavour Blend from Healthy Planet. I don’t know how much they paid. The 4 cheeses are Parmesan, Mozzarella, Provolone and Asiago. I absolutely loved the taste of this cheese blend. It even melted a bit and got a little stringy. A serving size (1/4 cup) is a little heavy on the fat and sodium, but does provide 12% of your day’s recommended calcium intake. Without any hesitation, I would get this again. I’m sure it would also go well on pizza. 

A new #vegancheese find (for us anyway)! I feel like Daiya is hit or miss, but in this instance, I liked it. We used it to melt on top of a tomato and veggie pasta last night. The flavour was good and it melted really well too. Best of all, their prices are generally lower than other vegan cheeses.

First, excuse my messy bowl. I was very #hungry and started stiring before I remembered to take a picture. #daiya keeps upping their game. These #cheeseshreds even tasted good when I pinched a bit from the bag. Lots of #flavour and they #melt well with a little heat and a good stir. They're finer than their other shreds, so that probably helped too. #willbuyagain 🌱🌱

I’m going to start my series of reviews with the cheeze I’ve been eating over the last many months. 😊 This is one of the best vegan cheezes I’ve ever had! Very finely shredded, good taste as far as vegan cheese goes, texture is a hair above the rest. And the best part- it melts! I got this on sale for $3.50 at Fresh Thyme.
