Handmade Style Tortillas

Really pleased with these tortillas👌🏼👍🏼 awesome flavor and texture! Will buy these again.

Veggie tacos with sliced avocado, tomatoes and purple cabbage made a super quick and tasty meal. I often like using beyond burger to make taco filling but when I want less processed food, stuffing a tortilla with veggies and salsa is delicious and satisfying. I pan fried the yellow corn and wheat tortillas with the smallest drop of oil. Mostly it’s just the high heat that gets it to crisp but can be served street taco style as well. I prefer the chewier, crisper texture of pan frying.

These were very good. They are pretty thick and puffy, almost like pita bread (about half as thick as a traditional pita bread).

LOVE THESE. As a natuve mecican I am very picky about tortillas and have a lot of trouble finding any I like. I think its a personal problem, but I am so sensitive to the smell or tortillas. The really processed and white corn ones just make me naseous. These are thick and delicious.

Safeway gave me a $5 reward, so I decided to splurge and get these pricy corn tortillas. They're more thick and pliable then the cheap ones I normally get. Nice flavor and it inspires me to maybe make my own someday. I was surprised that these have no saturated nor trans fat. #veganisnotscary
