A pretty neutral tasting protein mince derived from soy, peas, and chickpeas! It's a bit oily inside the foily plastic sachet. Microalgae oil is an interesting ingredient listed, seemingly for specific fatty acids. #vegantuna #protein #veganfish

I haven’t really liked any faux tuna I’ve had before, but this was an absolute WINNER in my books (and my partner loved it too). Ready to eat straight from the pack and is shelf stable, couldn’t be any more convenient. Was surprisingly moist (*shudders*) in a good way, not dry as I expected. Very very reminiscent of real tuna. I served it with a sushi bowl and it was 10/10 delicious. My partner purchased this from The Green Edge in Brisbane, I’m guessing it’s quite $$$ here in Australia otherwise we’d definitely be having it more often. #vegantuna #tuna

Big expectations for this future tuna. Nutritionally pretty good with omega3 and olive oil. Nice green box with tag to put on your vegan sandwichs (so cute), but as you open it it's not as nice. It comes in a not recyclable plastic gray bag not very easy to use. The smell is really really convincing, but the texture is more like mincemeat (or cat food if you want), the taste is less convincing than the smell but I'd say it's not bad. The price is £1,50 at Tesco, so I'll give it another chance while they figure out how to make it less similar to pet food... Hopefully!

Oh my goodness.. so good .. I mean it’s so good .. #vegantuna has come a long way .. this is the best I’ve tried…tastes like the tuna I remember.. I have tried to order this from different vegan mail orders .. but it’s always sold out .. and now I know why .. I found this at #sainsburys ., I’ll be going back to stick up for my trip home 🤣. Box is #recyclable
