I reviewed these Clipper tea bags about 9 months ago but I think they deserve another review because they’ve done what abillion members encourage companies to do - improve on their eco credentials. The bags are still in unbleached, the tea is grown in organic soil and Clipper have a ‘fair trade’ relationship with growers. But now, in addition, they have ditched the silver foil wrapping of the tea bags and just kept the cardboard container which is fully recyclable, RESULT! Thank you Clipper for seeking ways to improve. abillion has made me curious about the pros and cons of different foods and I wondered if tea is in any way beneficial. Some research shows that most traditional teas do not contain a significant amount of nutrients, but are rich in polyphenols. These are plant chemicals that give teas their distinct flavor and aroma and may have health-promoting properties. These benefits have to be off set against other research that suggests that the addition of milk may dilute this positive reaction. Sometimes it’s hard to beat a warming cuppa though.

Good tea with a strong flavour. Good value, the box is very big and it lasts long. The tea bags inside are loose with no plastic, which I really appreciated. Plus, is organic and fairtrade. Reccomended.

These are the best T bags, full stop, that’s it! I’ve used these for years and you can’t make a better cup of tea. Now they’re plastic free and biodegradable it’s even better! They’re unbleached so there’s no nasty aftertaste like you get in other t bags. The flavour is full bodied and strong if you leave or weaker if you prefer it that way! Once you’ve tried these t bags you won’t be able to drink anything else. I always beep a few in a bag on me at all times.. go on, try them! If you like tea you’ll love these ❤️
