Well, this was fun!! This was on a huuuge sale so I decided to give it a go. I did not expect the cheese to behave like halloumi but it did and it was delicious in a pita. Tip - marinate in olive oil, oregano, lemon and garlic powder.

I was not too fond of this, I struggled to fry this cheese. I think I will buy it again to give it another try. I love the other Violife Cheeses.
This product was much better than inexpected. This is a vegan halloumi product. After baking it (with no oil) is has still a sturdy texture. The taste is very salty with a light coconut aftertaste (like all violife products). The downside of this product is that it is al little bit expensive and that there are no grilling instructions on the packaging. Would recommend.
So this is an okay cheese. My problem with it is that its labelled as 'halloumi' style but it is pretty much just like the regular block cheese
